Free Mental Health Training (monthly talks)

Monthly on Tuesdays 10:30am - 12:30am, from 28th Feb to 29th Aug 2017

FREE Monthly courses and discussions to help broaden knowledge and understanding of specific conditions, issues and barriers to engagement for those experiencing mental ill-health and long term mental health conditions. 1-hr lectures followed by discussion.

 

 

Do you work with community groups or specific mental groups, or are you interested in widening your understanding and awareness of mental health issues and conditions to start working in this area? If you are then these free monthly courses and discussions will help you broaden your knowledge of specific conditions and understand issues and barriers to engagement for those experiencing mental ill-health and long term mental health conditions. 

 

Each session is a one-hour lecture followed by an hour's disccusion with medical colleagues.

  • 25 April - Personality Disorder 
  • 30 May - Understanding PTSD
  • 20 June - The Mental Health Act

  • 29 August - Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT)
